lyrics

Now hear the tale of one named Strahd.
Von Zarovich: self-proclaimed God.
The vampire Lord of Barovia.
Enthralled his people both feared and loved.
Unto Lord Strahd, he beheld a wife.
A woman fair without curse or strife.
But to his nature she knew no ill.
Once he revealed himself: shock then still.
Over the edge of the castle walls
She could not bare to what gave her pause.
In painful anguish Strahd cursed the world.
But here our tale has yet to unfurl.

Twas in his moment of gloom
There raineth silver and steel.
Brave heroes come baring doom
With holy murderous zeal.

On the streets heavy laden
Lied a sundered beast's corpse.
Avenged now ‘twas the maiden
The fate of monsters who dare to love of course.

But here we are my cursed friends.
In a shadow of the story's end.
For as I've told you, but once before,
Nothing ends, even sins he bore.
Ravenloft: where souls wicked lie.
Dark Powers won't even let us die.
Steal yourselves in this realm of dark,
For inside hell we must fight to depart.
